Update as of 2-6-11
We have plans to move back to Texas in a couple of months. Haven't figured out all the details yet, but will update again later. My eldest sister, Shirley, has a trailer on Lake Palestine in Frankston that we will be moving into. We hope to be there by mid-March to early April. It will be so good to be back there. Maybe some of us can touch base and get together and talk about School Daze. It would be soooo much fun.
Don't know if this is the right place for this update, but I suppose anyplace on my profile would get the info out there.

Married 3 times, guess I am too hard to please. Only joking. The first time was to Barbara Kay Moss. She was a couple of years behind us. Years after we divorced and we were both married to a different partner, she was hit and killed in Longview by a big truck. My second marriage was to a girl I met in Anchorage, Alaska as I went there in 1969. I was in and out of Alaska several times. I was divorced from her and ended up in California with a girl I also met in Anchorage. We were together about 1.5 years. Thank God I got out of that relationship, went back to Anchorage and met a girl July 29,1992. We are still married. I, like most people, have made my share of mistakes. I just try not to make the same mistake twice. My biggest accomplishment, I think, is that I Quit smoking December 31, 2006, well over 3 years ago. My brother, J. T. as some of you know, quit at the same time. We both stuck to our guns. Two boys and five girls in our family and we are all still living. We told mother years ago that she had some pretty good kids as none of us got into drugs. I guess our family has had a good life. My Mother passed away October 13, 2006. It was Friday 13th. Our Daddy passed away December 18, 1987.
So much for all my troubles. I would like to hear from all of my classmates. Oh, yeah, before I forget. I had the biggest crush on Dale York and she didn't even know I existed. Isn't it amazing how you can look back and laugh at yourself. I am not certain, but I think Carolyn Williams was sweet on me. She was a pretty lady and sure she still is, but back then I was about the most shy person in school, I thought. Like if Dale York would have just talked to me I would have probably just ran. That all changed in later years.
I saw and talked to Charlene Henigan when Willie Nelson played in Henderson. I thought we were having a 40 year reunion but I never heard anything about it. Not sure if I will make this one as I live in Oregon. I would love to go and see everyone, though. I didn't know we lost so many from our class. I am so sorry to hear about them.
I did pick up the nick name Hoss. My present wife nicknamed me Hoss as she heard a friend of mine call me that the night that she and I met. She then thought maybe I introduced myself as Hoss instead of Hollis. So the nickname stuck and so we started going out to Karaoke and I would sing under that name. We do Karaoke at home some as I have a good collection of especially country music.
